Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tinggi Batu Pahat (SMKTBP), shortened Sekolah Tinggi Batu Pahat (STBP), or commonly referred to as High School Batu Pahat (HSBP) is a secondary school for boys located in the town of Batu Pahat in the state of Johor, Malaysia. It was known as Government English School previously, but it had been changed to High School Batu Pahat after the independence of Malaysia.The address is P.O. Here is the history of High School Batu Pahat.Particularly a pride of Batu Pahat, being one of the oldest and most prestigious English schools in its golden days, many great people of importance in Malaysia have passed through its historic halls of education.
High School was formerly developed at a building in Jalan Zabedah (now the JKR building). Then, High School was relocated to a land in Jalan Zaharah. The new building (now the Administration building) was built in 1918 and opened in 1919.






Now is the Academics.The school offers both basic and advanced secondary education courses. Like other secondary schools, it offers lower and upper secondary educations: Form 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.Besides that,The Pre-University classes consists of Lower Six and Upper Six classes. These classes are advancements from the upper secondary classes. Most students studying in Form Six classes wear different uniform colours than the secondary students. The most important exam that the Form Six students are taking is the Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) certificate, which is based on the subjects that the student take throughout their education in Form Six.

The administration building functions as the nucleus of the school. It houses key school head offices and most meetings are conducted here.
Historically, the building which stands out from years 1919 has been in white colours but it recently been painted in yellow colours to match the school logo.
